Reliance Capital Ltd (RCL), part of Anil Ambani’s Reliance Group, stated that the total outstanding debts stood at INR 20,379.71 crore at the end of December 2020.
Earlier on August 31, 2020, RCL’s total debt, including short-term and long-term debt and accrued interest, stood at INR 19,805.7 crore. However, the amount reached INR 20,379.71 crore at the end of December 2020, as per the RCL’s regulatory filing on Thursday.
The total amount of outstanding borrowings, including accrued interest by December 31, from banks and financial institutions stood at INR 700.76 crore.
RCL is now due to pay a principal amount of INR 523.98 crore to HDFC Bank and INR 100.63 crore to Axis Bank.
Likewise, another firm of Reliance Group, Reliance Home Finance, informed that the total outstanding debt, including short-term and long-term debt and interest, stood at INR 12,943.18 crore at the end of December 31, 2020.
