Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra is back with another exciting project, this time on Netflix!
The actress informed this in her social media message about the wrap-up of her Netflix film – The White Tiger, starring Rajkumar Rao and Adarsh Gourav.
“Happy tired… but so excited to have wrapped #thewhitetiger. It was such a pleasure to work with the best in the business in every department. The most hard working crew… and such a delightful cast. Thank you for all your brilliance. I can’t wait to see the finished product and share it with the world,” Priyanka posted on Instagram alongside her photo.
The actress also made a mention about her co-stars, Rao and Gourav, who is making his acting debut with this project.
“Thank you @gouravadarsh for being an incredible lead (No1)!! I can’t wait for the world to see you as Balram…@rajkummar_rao finally! I’m so glad we did this together. Keep sending me memes!!” the 37-year-old beauty said.
Directed by Ramin Bahrani of Fahrenheit 451 and 99 Homes fame, The White Tiger is based on Aravind Adiga’s novel by the same name.
Netflix and Mukul Deora are jointly producing this film that also has Priyanka Chopra as the executive producer.
Adiga’s book is about the inspiring journey of a self-made man, who grows from a tea-shop worker in a village to a successful entrepreneur in a big city. Murder, love and deception make the gripping aspects of the story.
