Sushanth Singh Rajput’s death case is taking different turns with big names coming into the picture.
In a breaking news update, Bollywood filmmaker and producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali have come under probe by the Mumbai Police.
The department is scheduled to interrogate Bhansali on this issue today.
As per the sources, Sushant was to collaborate with Bhansali for a movie project titled ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’.
However, that did not work because of Sushant’s commitment with other production house.
Bhansali has reportedly offered four projects to Sushant, and both of them were interested in working together.
“Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Leela Bhansali were quite fond of each other as well as their work. In fact, not once but four times working together was on the cards for them, SLB had offered him four films, but due to date issues, things didn’t materialize,” reads a statement.
As part of the investigation, the police have taken statements from 30 people so far.
This includes Sushant’s close associates and friends Rhea Chakraborthy, Mahesh Shetty, co-star Sanjana Sanghi and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra.
The investigation is in line with Mumbai Police’s announcement to consider ‘professional rivalry’ as one of the key aspects around Sushant’s death.
