Technology advancements have helped organizations on one side. While on the other, they have also brought along security risks.
Now, every organization is keen about cybersecurity risks, taking necessary measures to address them!
According to a recent report, around 66% of business decision-makers in India opine lack of security as a serious challenge. While, 63% are worried about possible cybersecurity risks arising out of employee-side errors.
The report titled ‘Future of Cybersecurity in Asia Pacific and Japan-Culture, Efficiency, Awareness’ found that only 19% Indian organizations make required timely changes to their cybersecurity approach. While, 38% organizations feel to do so in the next 6-24 months period.
Considering these numbers, around 79% of Indian organizations will require well-integrated security solutions that tackle cybersecurity.
According to the report, an organization’s cybersecurity investment doesn’t just lie technology investment. Corporate culture, employee education and path-to-purchase have a crucial role.
“As the threat landscape evolves, businesses too need to advance their defense mechanisms with synchronized security solutions that are designed to strengthen their cyber security posture,” says Sunil Sharma, Managing Director & Sales, Sophos India and SAARC.
