In line with the PM’s appeal to employers to support employees during hard times, the Labor Ministry has directed the EPFO and ESIC departments to compile the complete data of delayed payments, job losses and salary cuts.
This decision is coming in the backdrop of layoffs/salary deductions/reductions by some employers in the organized sector. The final report will be presented to the PMO.
