Coronavirus is fast spreading in India with the latest count of COVID-19 cases beyond the 5,000 mark.
As the surveys report, the COVID-19 curve in India is steep and steady.
At the current pace, the number of positive cases is expected to increase by another 10,000 by the end of this week.
The COVID-19 positive cases in India have reportedly increased by 34 percent in the last two days to 4,789, which is less than 40 percent compared to the number in 48 hours before that.
And, the number could touch 5,000 by late April 07, 2020.

Considering this scenario, the surveys say India’s trajectory of COVID-19 cases is steep and steady, however, flatter compared to US that is rising rapidly.
Meanwhile, Gujarat has reported four new cases this morning taking the state’s positive cases to 179.
In another latest update, the Brazilian President wrote a letter to the Indian PM Narendra Modi seeking India’s help in its fight against COVID-19.
In a unique way, the Brazilian President referred to Ramayana and compared the fight against coronavirus.
“Just as Lord Hanuman brought the holy medicine from the Himalayas to save the life of Lord Rama’s brother Lakshmana, and Jesus healed those who were sick and restored the sight to Bartimeu, India and Brazil will overcome this global crisis by joining forces and sharing blessings for the sake of all people,” reads President Bolsanaro’s message to Modi.
This indicates a fresh wave of cooperation among the world nations in battling coronavirus.
