IndianEra > Government > India on ‘High Alert’ Amid High-Profile Terror Threat

Terror Alert!

Here comes another terror alert to India, this time a “sensational attack”, say the intelligence sources.

According to their findings, Pakistani terror group Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM) is working with Pakistani spy agency ISI to target Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and NSA Chief Ajit Dowal on the lines of #Article370 dispute between India and Pakistan.

Besides, they are also planning terror attacks across multiple places in India in September 2019.

As per the sources, a foreign intelligence agency has conveyed this information based on its findings from the communication between a Pakistan-based JeM operative Shamsher Wani and his handler in a handwritten note.

Accordingly, police departments across 30 vulnerable Indian cities such as Jammu, Amritsar, Pathankot, Jaipur, Gandhinagar, Kanpur and Lucknow have already been alerted about the supposed attack.

Considering the threat messages, security agencies have conducted a detailed review about Doval’s security.

Doval is supposedly under unprecedented threat for his strong record of executing high-level covert anti-terror operations (safeguarding India) such as recent surgical strike followed by IAF’s bombings on JeM’s key terror camps in Balakot.

JeM has been keen about targeting high-profile Indians after the Indian security forces smashed their key operations in the J&K region followed by Article 370 revocation.

On these lines, the Indian security forces have reportedly foiled a big group of suicide bombers trying to breach into Indian border on September 12-13, 2019 at Haji Pir sector of PoK.
