Coronavirus is gradually penetrating deeper across Indian states.

With the latest death of a 64-year-old in Maharashtra, India’s overall death toll due to coronavirus has reached 3.

While, a total of 126 corona-positive cases have been reported so far.

Amid the outbreak, the Government of India declared a country-wide lockdown of educational institutions, crowd-pulling places like gyms, shopping malls, theaters and more.

The government has issued directives to avoid making groups and huge gatherings.

Meanwhile, the Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan has remained self-quarantined after visiting a hospital in Kerala, where a doctor was tested corona-positive.

A total of 13 cases have recovered, so far.

Last week, the government declared coronavirus as a ‘notified disaster’ and ‘one-time dispensation’.

More than 7,000 COVID-19 deaths have been reported globally till date, with the infected cases reported as 1.82 lakh people across 155 countries.
